The first NbWSe2 ternary transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDCs) alloy. Large single crystal defect free niobium tungsten diselenide Nb(x)W(1-x)Se2 crystals have been developed in our facilities with x values ranging 0.3 to 0.45 stoichiometric range. These crystals are rated at 99.9995% purity with perfect crystallinity. Crystals are perfectly alloyed and does not have any phase separation such as WSe2 and NbSe2 regions or crystal domains. Single domain size is large and topological (stacking fault) defects are minimal allowing easy exfoliation and high monolayer yield rate. 2D TMDCs crystals are grown using chemical vapor transport technique without any transport agent which enables us to reach high purity rates. These crystals come with guaranteed alloying and optical/electronic response.
Important advantages of our crystals
1. Crystals come fully characterized using macro, micro, and nanoscale measurements to ensure there is no phase separation.
2. 2D TMDCs alloys are homogeneously alloyed which means across the specimen you will only find one particular x composition.
3. No separation: Phase separation is commonly observed in 2D TMDCs alloys when cooling profiles are not controlled carefully.
